Frequently asked questions
How do you know which stations I can receive?
We use the FCC’s license records for every FM, AM, low-power FM and translator transmitter — its location, power and antenna height — and estimate the signal at your location. Hills, buildings and your radio’s antenna make real reception better or worse.
What do Strong, Good and Fringe mean?
Strong is a city-grade signal you should hear clearly indoors, Good is a solid outdoor and car signal, and Fringe means you may hear the station only with a good antenna or at times.
Can I listen to stations I cannot receive over the air?
Yes. Every station with an online stream has a “Listen live” link: it plays here on Radio Stations Hub wherever you are.
Do you store my location?
No. Your browser shares your location only when you press “Use my location”; we use it to look up stations and do not save it.
