Frequently asked questions
How many US radio stations can I listen to here?
We list 21,960 stations from all 50 states, D.C. and the territories and 8,048 cities and towns, and new stations are added all the time. The full list is on this page, ordered by popularity, A–Z or newest first.
How do I listen to radio online for free?
Click any station in the list to open its page and press play: the live stream starts straight away in your phone or computer browser. No payment, no account and no app.
Are FM and AM stations included?
Yes. The list includes every FM, AM and low-power FM station licensed by the FCC, HD Radio channels, public radio, college, Christian, Spanish-language and sports stations — plus online-only stations. Streaming means you get clear sound even far from the station’s transmitter.
How do I find my local station?
Use the search at the top of the page (a station name, a call sign like “WABC”, a city or a dial like “104.3”) or the state filter. You can also open your city’s page from “Cities with the most stations” or the full list of cities.
What does “Most popular” mean?
It is the default order of the list: the stations Americans search for and play most appear first. You can switch to A–Z or see recently added stations.
What does “On air only” mean?
It shows only the stations whose stream was working at our last automatic check. We test every station several times a day.
