92.5 Maxima live

Maxima FM is Tampa Bay's Latin pop station. It broadcasts as WYUU on 92.5 FM, is licensed to Safety Harbor, Florida, and serves Tampa and St. Petersburg with the slogan "Tu Musica Al Maximo Tampa". It is owned by the Beasley Broadcast Group, and on this page you can listen to Maxima live online, free.

Latin pop

WYUU plays a Latin pop format — the biggest Spanish-language pop hits.

Studios

The studios are in St. Petersburg.

History

The station went on the air in October 1983 as WXCR, after a brief 1982 call sign of WOOT. The WYUU call letters sound like "U", from a former oldies moniker.

Sister stations

Beasley's Tampa Bay stations also include WJBR, WLLD, WQYK-FM and WRBQ-FM.

Música, anywhere

Press play and Maxima starts in seconds — on I-275, at the beach or far from Florida. The stream on this page carries the same music you hear on 92.5 FM.

For Tampa Bay

For Tampa Bay's growing Latino community, Maxima FM is the station for Latin pop at work, in the car and at the party — and the stream on this page lets relatives far away listen along.

Why listeners tune in

When you want the newest Latin pop in one place, Maxima keeps the playlist current.
