About 92.3 The Fan
92.3 The Fan is Cleveland's FM sports station. It broadcasts as WKRK-FM on 92.3 FM, is licensed to Cleveland Heights and serves Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio under the slogan "Cleveland's Home for Sports". The station is owned by Audacy, and here you can listen to The Fan live, free. The online stream is offered to listeners inside the United States; outside the country it may not play because of rights restrictions.
Browns co-flagship
WKRK-FM is a co-flagship of the Cleveland Browns Radio Network, so football Sundays bring the Browns live, together with pregame and postgame coverage. The station is also a Westwood One Sports affiliate and carries the Motor Racing Network.
Cleveland sports talk
Between games, The Fan's local hosts talk Browns, Guardians and Cavaliers from morning to evening, and listeners across Northeast Ohio call in.
From K-Rock to The Fan
The 92.3 FM frequency has been on the air since December 1947. It carried a long list of call signs and formats — including rock as "K-Rock", which is where the WKRK call letters come from — before switching to sports.
Studios and HD Radio
The station's studios are in the Halle Building in downtown Cleveland and its transmitter is in Warrensville Heights. WKRK-FM broadcasts three HD Radio channels: HD2 carries Westwood One Sports and HD3 carries Browns programming.
Sister stations
In Cleveland, The Fan shares ownership with WDOK, WNCX and WQAL.
