WFAN Sports Radio 660 AM live

WFAN is the station that invented all-sports radio. It broadcasts in New York on 660 AM, with a simulcast on 101.9 FM, and calls itself the home of New York sports talk. Owned by Audacy, it is one of the most searched-for radio stations in the country, and on this page you can listen to WFAN live, free, in your browser. The station's online stream is offered to listeners inside the United States; outside the country it may not play because of rights restrictions.

The first all-sports station

When WFAN signed on in July 1987 it became the first station anywhere to talk sports around the clock, and the format it proved has since spread to hundreds of stations across America. Its name says it plainly: the call letters stand for "fan". The frequency itself is far older — the 660 AM signal has been on the air in New York since 1922, first as WEAF and later as WNBC, before it became the Fan.

Teams and play-by-play

WFAN is the radio home of several New York teams. Its affiliations include the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, the Brooklyn Nets, the New Jersey Devils and Rutgers football and basketball, so on game days the station carries live play-by-play as well as pregame and postgame shows. National games come through Westwood One Sports, and the station also carries sports-betting programming from the BetMGM Network.

Talk all day

Between games, WFAN is wall-to-wall conversation: morning and afternoon drive shows, midday hosts and late-night talk, with listeners calling in to argue about trades, injuries and the latest result. If something happens in New York sports, it is being discussed on WFAN within minutes.

Sister stations

WFAN shares ownership with several New York stations, including all-news 1010 WINS and classic hits WCBS-FM, so the same group covers news, music and sports in the market.
