93.7 The Fan live

93.7 The Fan is Pittsburgh's hometown sports station. It broadcasts as KDKA-FM on 93.7 FM and serves the Pittsburgh metropolitan area with sports talk and live play-by-play. The station is owned by Audacy, and on this page you can listen to 93.7 The Fan live, free and in your browser. The station's online stream is offered to listeners inside the United States; outside the country it may not play because of rights restrictions.

The Pirates and Pitt

The Fan is the flagship station of the Pittsburgh Pirates Radio Network, so baseball season brings every Pirates game live, with pregame and postgame shows. It is also the flagship for University of Pittsburgh Panthers sports, and it carries national games from Westwood One Sports, including NFL broadcasts.

Pittsburgh sports talk

Outside the broadcasts, the station is local sports talk through the day: the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates and Pitt are dissected from morning drive into the evening, with Pittsburgh listeners calling in. It is the conversation the city has at the bar, in the car and at work — on the radio.

A name with history

The KDKA call letters belong to one of the most famous stations in broadcasting: they were taken from sister station KDKA on 1020 AM. The 93.7 FM frequency itself dates back to 1948 and went through many call signs and formats before becoming the Fan.

HD Radio channels

KDKA-FM broadcasts in HD Radio. Its HD2 channel simulcasts the news and talk of KDKA (1020 AM), and its HD3 channel carries the national Westwood One Sports feed, so one frequency offers three different services to listeners with an HD radio.
