About SportsRadio 94WIP
SportsRadio 94WIP is Philadelphia's sports station. It broadcasts as WIP-FM on 94.1 FM, serves the Philadelphia metropolitan area and calls itself Philadelphia's Sports Leader. The station is owned by Audacy, and on this page you can listen to 94WIP live online, free and in your browser. The online stream is offered to listeners inside the United States; outside the country it may not play because of rights restrictions.
Eagles and Phillies flagship
WIP-FM is the flagship station of both the Philadelphia Eagles Radio Network and the Philadelphia Phillies Radio Network, which makes it the place to hear two of the city's most passionate fan bases on game day. Pregame and postgame shows wrap around the broadcasts, and national events come through Westwood One Sports.
Talk with an edge
Philadelphia sports radio has a reputation, and WIP is a big part of it. From morning drive to the evening, its hosts and callers argue about the Eagles' quarterback, the Phillies' bullpen, the Sixers and the Flyers with the kind of energy the city is famous for.
From WYSP to WIP
The 94.1 FM frequency signed on in 1948. For four decades, from 1971 to 2011, it was WYSP, one of Philadelphia's best-known rock stations, before switching to sports. The WIP call letters were taken from former sister station WIP on 610 AM, which once simulcast the sports format.
HD channels and sister stations
WIP-FM broadcasts in HD Radio: HD2 carries the all-news programming of KYW, and HD3 offers a classic-rock channel that revives the WYSP name. In Philadelphia, WIP shares ownership with KYW, WBEB, WOGL, WPHT and others.
