Talk Radio 1210 WPHT live

Talk Radio 1210 WPHT is "Philly's Big Talker". It broadcasts on 1210 AM, serves the Philadelphia metropolitan area and is owned by Audacy. On this page you can listen to WPHT live online, free and in your browser. The online stream is offered to listeners inside the United States; outside the country it may not play because of rights restrictions.

Talk radio

WPHT's schedule mixes local talk about Philadelphia and Pennsylvania with national programs from Premiere Networks, Westwood One and Radio America. News comes from ABC News Radio and Fox News Radio. The station's call letters stand for "Philadelphia's Talk".

College sports

WPHT is also a home for college sports, with affiliations for Penn State Nittany Lions and Temple Owls broadcasts.

A clear-channel signal

WPHT is a Class A clear-channel station broadcasting at 50,000 watts, non-directional — the maximum for a commercial AM station — and one of only two clear-channel stations in Philadelphia, the other being sister station KYW. By day it covers the metro area, the Lehigh Valley and parts of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland; at night it can be heard across much of the eastern United States and eastern Canada.

Nearly seventy years as WCAU

The frequency signed on in May 1922 and was WCAU — one of the great names of early American radio — until 1990. After a few years with other call letters it became WPHT.

Sister stations

WPHT shares ownership with KYW, WIP-FM, WOGL, WBEB and others. Its programming is also carried on the HD3 channel of WOGL (98.1).
