About La X96.3
La X 96.3 is a New York station for Latin rhythms. It broadcasts as WXNY-FM on 96.3 FM and serves the New York metropolitan area with the slogan "El Ritmo de New York". The station is owned by Univision, and on this page you can listen to La X live online, free.
Hispanic rhythmic
La X plays a Hispanic rhythmic format: reggaeton, Latin urban hits and tropical sounds such as salsa, merengue and bachata — the rhythm of New York's Latino neighborhoods.
A historic frequency
96.3 FM has a long history in New York. It signed on on November 26, 1939, and was W59NY and WQXQ before becoming WQXR-FM in 1948 — the city's famous classical station, a name it carried until 2009. After a short time as WCAA, it became WXNY-FM.
HD channels
The HD2 channel carries TUDN Radio, the Spanish-language sports network. HD3 (Radio Russkaya Reklama) and HD4 (Radio Freedom FM) carry Russian music for New York's Russian-speaking community.
Sister stations
In New York, the same company owns WADO on radio and WFTY-DT, WFUT-DT and WXTV-DT on television.
