Regional Mexican
Frontera plays regional Mexican music — banda, norteño and other favorites — for listeners on both sides of the border.
From KFMB-FM to KFBG
The station first broadcast on September 21, 1959, as KFMB-FM and kept those call letters for more than sixty years. In 2020 it became KFBG, from its previous "Big FM" format, and it now carries the Frontera brand.
A border station
San Diego and Tijuana form one of the busiest border regions in the world, and Frontera — "border" in Spanish — is named for the community it serves.
Música, anywhere
Press play and Frontera starts in seconds — in San Diego, in Tijuana or anywhere you are. The stream on this page carries the same music you hear on 100.7 FM.
For the whole family
Regional Mexican radio is music for the whole family: the songs played at parties, weddings and Sunday gatherings, and Frontera brings them to the radio every day.
