About La Ley 92.1 FM

La Ley 92.1 FM is a Houston station for regional Mexican music. It broadcasts as KROI on 92.1 FM, is licensed to Seabrook, Texas, and serves the Greater Houston market. The station is owned by the Spanish Broadcasting System, and on this page you can listen to La Ley live online, free.

Regional Mexican

La Ley plays regional Mexican music — the banda, norteño and ranchera sounds loved across Texas — for one of the largest Mexican-American audiences in the country.

Studios and tower

The studios are in Greenway Plaza, and the transmitter is near Rosharon in unincorporated Brazoria County, south of Houston.

History

The station signed on on April 23, 1984, as KZRQ and later became KYND, KLEF and KRTS before taking the KROI call letters, which come from a former owner, Radio One Incorporated.

HD Radio

KROI's HD2 channel carries a second regional Mexican service, so listeners with an HD radio get two stations of Mexican music on one frequency.

Música, anywhere

Press play and La Ley starts in seconds — at work, at a family party or on the road across Houston, from Pasadena and Baytown to Katy and Sugar Land.
