1460 The Fan 2 live

The Fan 2 is a Columbus sports station. It broadcasts as WBNS on 1460 AM, is licensed to Columbus, Ohio, and uses the slogan "Columbus' Sports Station". On this page you can listen to The Fan 2 live online, free.

Sports and betting

WBNS carries a sports and sports betting format with BetMGM and Westwood One Sports programming, and it is a co-flagship of the Ohio State Sports Network — so Buckeyes coverage is at its core.

Studios and tower

WBNS, WBNS-FM and WBNS-TV share studios and offices on Twin Rivers Drive near downtown Columbus. The transmitter is a diamond-shaped Blaw-Knox tower in East Columbus.

History

The station dates to 1922, when it began as WCAH. It became WBNS in 1934; the call letters stand for "Wolfe Bank Newspaper and Shoes".

Sister stations

Its sisters are WBNS-FM and WBNS-TV, so radio and television share one newsroom building in Columbus.
