Classic rock

WLVQ plays classic rock — the bands and songs that made rock radio. Some programming comes from Westwood One.

Studios and tower

QFM96's studios are in Upper Arlington, Ohio. The transmitter is in Columbus on the Twin Rivers Drive tower.

History

The station signed on April 1, 1959, as WTVN-FM. It was WBUK from 1966 to 1974, then WTVN-FM again until 1977, before taking the WLVQ call letters. The calls mirror those of its former sister station WTVN.
