A century of Denver radio
950 AM has been on the air since 1923. It was KFEL until 1954 and then KIMN from 1954 to 1988 — the call sign now used by sister station Mix 100. Later it was KYGO, KKFN and KRWZ before becoming KKSE, for Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.
Sister stations
Kroenke's other Denver stations are KIMN, KKSE-FM and KXKL-FM.
