100.3 The Bus live

100.3 The Bus is a Des Moines adult hits station. It broadcasts as KDRB on 100.3 FM, serves the Des Moines metropolitan area and uses the slogan "We Play Everything for Des Moines". The station is owned by iHeartMedia, and on this page you can listen to The Bus live online, free.

We play everything

The Bus runs its own variety hits format, similar to the franchised Jack FM sound: a wide mix of hits across several decades, from rock to pop, with surprises along the way.

Iowa State Cyclones

KDRB is the flagship station for the Iowa State Cyclones, so Cyclones football and basketball are a big part of the station's year.

History

The station signed on in 1948 as WHO-FM, the FM partner of Des Moines' famous WHO. It became KLYF in 1973 and KMXD in 1998. The KDRB call letters came over from 106.3 FM, where they meant "Des Moines' R&B"; today "RB" stands for "radio bus".

HD Radio

HD2 simulcasts WHO's news and talk, so listeners with an HD radio can reach both stations on one frequency.

Sister stations

Through iHeartMedia, KDRB shares ownership with WHO, KKDM, KXNO, KXNO-FM, KASI and KCYZ.
