104.3 WQAM is Miami's sports station. It broadcasts on 560 AM, licensed to Miami, in simulcast with WQAM-FM on 104.3 FM, and serves the Miami metropolitan area and much of South Florida. The station is owned by Audacy, and on this page you can listen to WQAM live online, free. Miami's flagship

WQAM is the flagship station of the Miami Heat, the Florida Panthers and Miami Hurricanes football and basketball. It is the area's affiliate of Westwood One Sports and the BetMGM Network, and it is the radio home of Joe Rose.

Studios and tower

The studios for WQAM and WQAM-FM are in Miami, and the AM transmitter is in Miami's Little River neighborhood.

More than a century old

WQAM signed on on January 23, 1923, making it one of Florida's oldest radio stations. Its call letters have no special meaning: they were assigned from a sequential list.

Sister stations

In South Florida, Audacy also owns WAXY, WKIS, WLYF, WMXJ, WPOW and WQAM-FM.

Miami sports, anywhere

Press play and WQAM starts in seconds — for a Heat night, a Panthers playoff game or Hurricanes Saturday.
