About Easy 93.1
Easy 93.1 is South Florida's easy-listening adult contemporary station. It broadcasts as WFEZ on 93.1 FM, is licensed to Miami and uses the slogan "Miami's 80s, 90s and More". The station is licensed to Cox Radio, and on this page you can listen to Easy 93.1 live online, free.
80s, 90s and more
Easy plays adult contemporary music — soft and familiar pop hits, with the 1980s and 1990s at the center. Some programming comes through Premiere Networks.
A Miami success story
After earlier formats on the frequency had not lasted, Easy 93.1 became a runaway success. From 2010 Director of Programming Gary Williams gradually moved the station in a slightly more contemporary direction, taking it to the top of the ratings in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale market, and he paired Giselle Andres with Jeff Martin in morning drive. In 2013 WFEZ was a Marconi Award finalist for AC Station of the Year, and other radio groups later launched their own versions of the format.
History
The frequency signed on on December 29, 1947, as WKAT-FM and was WTMI for three decades before the calls WPYM and WHDR. WFEZ stands for "Florida's Easy". HD2 carries dance music.
Sister stations
In South Florida, its sisters are WEDR, WFLC and WHQT.
