About KOST 103.5
KOST 103.5 is Los Angeles' adult contemporary station. It broadcasts on 103.5 FM, serves Greater Los Angeles and calls itself "LA's Feel Good Station". The station is owned by iHeartMedia, and on this page you can listen to KOST live online, free and in your browser.
Feel-good music
KOST plays adult contemporary music: upbeat pop hits from the last few decades and today's softer favorites, the kind of songs that keep a workday moving. Mornings belong to Ellen K, whose show is one of the best-known in Los Angeles radio; segments of it are also syndicated to other iHeart stations on Saturday mornings.
Christmas on KOST
KOST is famous for its holiday season. Each year it switches to Christmas music in early November and keeps it on until a few days after Christmas, and for many Angelenos it is the sound of the holidays.
Studios and HD Radio
KOST's studios are on West Olive Avenue in Burbank, shared with its sister stations. In HD Radio, its HD2 channel carries KFI's talk programming.
History
The 103.5 frequency signed on in August 1957 as KGLA and became KADS before taking the KOST call letters — which sound like "coast".
Sister stations
Through iHeartMedia, KOST shares ownership with KIIS-FM, KFI, KBIG, KYSR and KLAC in Los Angeles.
