Adult contemporary

Christmas on Lite FM
Like other big-city AC stations, Lite FM is known for playing Christmas music during the holiday season, which has become a tradition for many Chicago listeners.
Downtown studios, Willis Tower signal
The studios are in the Illinois Center complex in the Chicago Loop, and the transmitter is on top of the Willis Tower, giving the station a strong signal across the metro area.
History
The 93.9 FM frequency signed on in April 1958 as WEBH-FM and later carried the call letters WWEL and WLAK before becoming WLIT, which spells "Lite".
Sister stations
In Chicago, iHeartMedia also owns WGCI-FM, WVAZ (V103), WKSC-FM (103.5 KISS FM), WGRB and WVON.
