Mega 96.3 live

Mega 96.3 is a Los Angeles Latin pop station. It broadcasts as KXOL-FM on 96.3 FM and serves Greater Los Angeles with the slogan "La Vibra y Variedad de Los Angeles". The station is owned by Spanish Broadcasting System, and on this page you can listen to Mega 96.3 live online, free.

Latin hits

Mega plays a Latin pop format — the newest hits in Spanish, with the urban and tropical rhythms that fill Los Angeles parties — for one of the largest Spanish-speaking audiences in the country.

Studios and signal

The studios and offices are on West Pico Boulevard, and the transmitter is in the Verdugo Mountains near Glendale. A 14-watt booster, KXOL-FM-1, also on 96.3 FM, fills in the signal in Santa Clarita.

History

The frequency dates to 1949, when it signed on as KRKD-FM. It was KFSG from 1970 to 2001 before becoming KXOL-FM; the call letters sound like "sol", the Spanish word for sun.

Sister station

Spanish Broadcasting System also owns KLAX-FM in Los Angeles.
