It broadcasts as KSAN on 107.7 FM, is licensed to San Mateo, California, and serves the San Francisco Bay Area with the slogan "The Bone Rocks the Bay". History

The station signed on in April 1963 as KUFY and was later KVEZ, KSOL and KYLD. The KSAN call letters come from "San" and "Santa", the Spanish words for saint that begin the names of many Bay Area communities.
