About 95.7 Hallelujah FM
Hallelujah 95.7 is Memphis' gospel station. It broadcasts as WHAL-FM on 95.7 FM, is licensed to nearby Horn Lake, Mississippi, and serves Memphis under the slogan "Memphis' Inspiration Station". The station is owned by iHeartMedia, and on this page you can listen to Hallelujah FM live online, free.
Urban gospel
Hallelujah FM plays urban gospel: contemporary gospel and inspirational music, from choirs to today's gospel hitmakers, for listeners who want uplifting music throughout the day. It is a station for Sunday mornings, but just as much for the workday, the school run and the evening drive home.
Studios and signal
The studios are in Southeast Memphis, and the transmitter site is in the city's Midtown district, so the signal covers Memphis and reaches across the state line into North Mississippi, where the station is licensed.
History
The station dates to 1991, when it signed on as WYYA. It was later WRXQ, WOTO and WHAL before taking the WHAL-FM call letters — "W HALlelujah".
Sister stations
In Memphis, iHeartMedia also owns KJMS, KWNW, WDIA, WEGR, WHRK and WREC.
