About Angels Radio AM 830
Angels Radio AM 830 is Southern California's home of the Los Angeles Angels. It broadcasts as KLAA on 830 AM, is licensed to Orange, California, and serves Orange County and Southern California. On this page you can listen to Angels Radio live online, free.
The Angels and more
KLAA carries Los Angeles Angels baseball — its call letters stand for the team — along with USC Trojans football, the Las Vegas Raiders and ESPN Radio programming.
A day-and-night signal
The transmitter is a three-tower facility in Chino, off McCarty Road. By day KLAA broadcasts with a full 50,000 watts from a single non-directional tower. Because 830 AM is a clear-channel frequency on which WCCO in Minneapolis is the dominant Class A station, KLAA reduces power to 20,000 watts from sunset to sunrise and uses all three towers to send most of its signal westward, protecting WCCO.
History
The station signed on on January 9, 1986, as KSRT and was later KPLS and KMXE before becoming KLAA.
Baseball, anywhere
Press play and Angels Radio starts in seconds — at the ballpark in Anaheim, on the 57 or anywhere you follow the Halos. The stream on this page carries the same programming you hear on 830 AM.
