Talk for Atlanta's community

A piece of Atlanta history

WAOK is Atlanta's third-oldest continuously licensed broadcast station and the fifth oldest in Georgia. It went on the air in 1928 as WRBI and was later WJTL and WATL before taking the WAOK call letters, which come from the station's former owners, "Atlanta OK".

Studios

WAOK broadcasts from studios at Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta.

Sister stations

WAOK shares ownership with V-103 (WVEE), 92-9 The Game and Star 94.1 in Atlanta, putting music, sports and talk under one company.
