Sports radio

WKTI is the ESPN Radio affiliate for Milwaukee, the flagship of the Marquette Golden Eagles, and the radio home of Mark Chmura, Mark Tauscher, Tony Smith and Steve True. HD2 simulcasts WTMJ's talk.

Studios and tower

WKTI shares its transmitter and tower with WTMJ-TV at its former studio site off Capitol Drive, the Art Deco "Radio City", named in tribute to the New York complex. At the end of 2022 WTMJ radio, WKTI and WGKB moved to new studios in the Third Street Market Hall downtown.

History

The station signed on on June 1, 1959, as WTMJ-FM. It was WKTI-FM from 1974 to 2008 and WLWK-FM from 2008 to 2015 before the WKTI name returned; the calls come from a former "I-94" brand.

Sister stations
